I have been working in MOH Holdings Singapore in architecture & solution and interoperability standards for the implementation of Singapore national health care programmes such as National EHR system.
Previously I was working as Chief Software Architect of an Australian software company architecting and developing commercial SOA enabled EHR product and integration engine primarily based on HL7v3 RIM and SNOMED CT.
Before diving into healthcare industry, I had been architecting and developing high throughput and transaction intensive commercial products and solutions in logistics & procurement for real time logistics asset tracking & optimization.
I am actively involved in various architecture and standards committees to promote the awareness and knowledge sharing of architecture and healthcare interoperability standards locally and internationally such as HL7, IHE and ISO TC215. I have been member of HL7 Singapore since its inception in 2008, and member of HITC (Health Informatics Technical Committee) which is responsible for drafting and approving healthcare standards for Singapore Healthcare industry since its inception in 2011. I am also core member of newly found ACoP (Architecture Community of Practice) to promote awareness and experience sharing of architecture in Singapore.
I am IBM certified SOA designer and HL7v3 RIM specialist, proficient in healthcare standards including both Information Models and Terminologies, EHR architecture design and implementation.
